Today we have released our newest update to the WebAdmin system, which contains a few exciting new features and bug fixes.
Included in this release is a new module templating system which will allow you an incredible amount of control over how module data is displayed on your sites: you'll have as much customization control over autostuff and module content as much as you do in your theme!
The first module that uses this new system is the Product Catalog, which will be made available for download in the coming days. Any module that uses this templating system will need WebAdmin to be updated to this newest release.

To update your WebAdmin installation:
If you have Automatic Updates turned on, you'll be given the option to install the update next time you log in to the Admin section of your site. Install the updates and you'll be all set!

If you have Automatic Updates turned off, you will need to turn them on (temporarily) before updates can be applied. At the moment, if the Automatic Updates are turned off WebAdmin cannot apply any new updates, even if you specifically tell it to (this has been fixed in the new update). Log in to the Admin section of your site with a SuperAdmin account, and go to System Setup -> Modify Your Settings. The very last setting in the WebAdmin Settings section is "Automatically Check For Updates". Set this to "on", and press "Save Settings". Click the System Setup link, and click "Check for Updates". From here, you'll be able to successfully update your site. Once the update has been applied, you can turn Automatic Updates back off, if you wish, and the manual Check for Updates method will work normally for you from then on.


When you're finished applying the updates, you'll know that it was successful if the footer of the Admin section reads: "Powered By WebAdmin 2.5.1.11"
